The YMCA and the City of Worthington are proud and excited to announce that they have entered into a
partnership with Minnesota West Community and Technical College-Worthington, that will result in the opening
of the New Worthington Area YMCA and City of Worthington Aquatic Center in the Fall of 2009!
|

The mission of the YMCA is to put Christian Principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
|

The YMCA is a local non-profit that is committed to meet community needs and serve people of all ages and backgrounds.

The Worthington Area YMCA and City of Worthington Aquatics Center, located on the Minnesota West Campus, will offer the following:

- Recreation Zero Depth Entry Pool with fun amenities, 6 lane lap pool, diving well with diving board and water climbing wall
- Outdoor Pool
- Recreational swimming area with 2 drop slides, deck area, Zero Depth entry and more water fun!
- 3 Locker Rooms
- Men's, Women's and Family/Special Needs
- Health and Wellness Area
- Including strength and cardiovascular areas
- Fitness classes for all ages
- Including cardio, Pilates, cycling and more
- Personal Training
- Certified and Trained YMCA fitness staff
- Child Watch Area
- Safe, supervised fun for children
- Youth / Teen Programs
- YMCA's premier youth programs
- Full Sized Gymnasium
- 1-full sized court, 2-cross courts
- Walking/Running Track
- Multipurpose/Programming Rooms
- Space for Group Exercise, Youth Programs, Meetings, Birthday Parties and More

- Junior-sized recreation area reserved just for those younger Y users to recreate and expend their energy!
