The YMCA is a charitable organization that exists to serve the
community where there is a need. Our service includes a variety
of recreational, wellness, and social service based programs for
infants though sr citizens. The YMCA will not turn any individual
away form membership or programs regardless of race, color, creed,
religion, sex, or national origin.
Financial Assistance/ Sustaining Memberships
The YMCA also has an established policy never to turn away any individual
due to the inability to pay established membership of program fees.
All of this is made possible through the annual Youth Builders Sustaining
Campaign, United Way and other YMCA fundraisers. Please consider
the YMCA in your annual giving plans…call the YMCA at 376-6197.
ESTATE PLANNING
Please consider the YMCA and the perpetual support that
remembering the YMCA in your estate can provide. If you would like
more information on including the YMCA in your estate plans, please
contact Wayne Klumper at the YMCA.....376-6197.
Endowment/Heritage Club
Time does pass quickly and as I write this I find it hard to believe
that our Endowment program has now been actively working on the
perpetual long-term financial success of our YMCA for eleven years.
During the past ten years, the YMCA has been remembered in six estates,
many memorials, and 93 individual, businesses or organizations have
joined the Heritage Club. The Heritage Club is a one-time gift to
the Endowment program.
We live and must survive in a small membership market. Worthington
is very fortunate to have a YMCA with its facilities, its programs
and its philosophy. We are grateful to all those who have supported
our Endowment Program in the past, present and the future. The Endowment
Program's success is vital for our association to remain an active
and vital part of our Community providing opportunities for all
ages, interests and abilities. We appreciate the efforts of all
who are involved.
Wayne Klumper, Endowment Director
"Y's" HERITAGE CLUB
One of the best ways to insure the future of a vital YMCA in Worthington
is through the "Y's" Heritage Club. Heritage Club members
will add to our Endowment Fund that will continue to grow and provide
for the ongoing support each year for the many programs of the YMCA.
If you would like to be a member of the "Y's" HERITAGE
CLUB, contact Wayne Klumper, YMCA.....376-6197.
What does the future hold? The YMCA still is investigating
the possibility of a new YMCA facility, stay tuned for updates.
